If you are interested in stage-construction, designing sets, painting, costume design and properties design, then this is the course for you! Gain the unique opportunity to contribute to the design of TIFT’s Youth Company Small Talk’s Spring production. Using a pre-existing script, you will learn how to interpret the needs of the piece and to design the set, build set pieces (hope you like power tools), create costumes, and assemble props. Feel what it is like to be part of a production team, and to see your work bring a theatrical piece to life. A unique and fun-filled experience for anyone with a love of the arts. This course ends with the final installations of your creation in the downtown theatre at the Five Points, while the company of players acts out their piece using your design! 6 Sessions, 2 Hours Each Early bird price before December 31, 2009 is $70.
