The 20th Annual Thornbury Winter Antique Show takes place in the Beaver Valley Community Centre, 81 Victoria St. in downtown Thornbury. Once in the Village of Thornbury just follow the signs. This winter's antiques show starts on Saturday, March 13, 2010 running from 10am to 5pm and continues on Sunday, March 14 from 10am to 4pm. Admission is $5.00 with children twelve years and under free. The show features twenty-six professional antiques dealers from across Ontario presenting for sale a wide variety of authentic antiques and collectibles including pottery and porcelain items, pressed glass, depression glass, silver and silver-plate, exquisite antique jewellery, country pine and oak furniture together with more sophisticated styles of furnishings including European antiques. You will also find art glass, vintage hooked rugs, linens, advertising items, antiquarian and collectible books, early lamps and lighting, lots of country décor and primitives, plus a wonderful selection of 20th century Canadian fine art, historical maps, botanical prints . . . and so much more.
